Jeep(s):

We have 2 Jeep Wrangler 4-door Jeeps on the property. We will make every effort to make one or both (additional fee applies) Jeeps available for your stay. They are washed and vacuumed between guests so they are clean and ready to go. However, this is the Caribbean and the environment is harsh and good mechanics are hard to find (and sometimes parts have to be shipped) so we can’t guarantee availability. In the event that one Jeep isn’t available we will credit you $50/day to make other rental arrangements. If the second Jeep isn’t available, we will refund any additional amounts agreed upon for use of the second Jeep.

Boat:

The optional boat pictured is a 22 foot Jones Brothers Bateau Lite Tackle Edition with a Yamaha 115 and T-top. It is equipped with VHF, Garmin GPS/Sonar, and JL Audio Bluetooth Stereo.

You MUST be a qualified boat owner with at least 10 years of saltwater experience to rent the boat. A $2,000 deposit will be required and released upon return of the boat in the condition you received it.

The boat will be provided with full fuel and checked out with you before and after your stay for proper operation and any damage. It will be stored in a wet slip at Turtle Cove marina during your stay just a 3-5 minute walk from the villa.

Please contact us for more details and a sample rental agreement.

Around the island

Harbour Rock is located within minutes of several great beaches and local attractions. You can walk to a couple nearby shops, restaurants, and beaches, or take the jeep and explore the whole island!

  • Somewhere on the Beach: This is at Coral Gardens on the West side of Grace Bay. One of our favorite spots to get a drink and enjoy the view. There is also good snorkeling on the beach in front.

  • Mr. Grouper: West side of Grace Bay. Inexpensive, great local food. Recommend the blackened grouper.

  • 23 Parallel: Super high end food.. expensive but good/romantic West side of Grace Bay.

  • Coco Bistro: Supposedly best food on the island.. never been though. Reservations far in advance. Center of Grace Bay.

  • Magnolia: Great view. Very close to the house. Very similar view. Great sunset and evening place. Turtle Cove, far West side of Grace Bay.

  • Bugaloo: Great place to relax and spend a few hours. Sit in one of the boats (boat tables) on the beach. They have Reggae in the afternoons from like 2-5 or something.

  • Las Brisas: Sapodilla Bay. Good food. Great lunch destination.

  • Da Conch Shack: Local atmosphere on the beach.

  • Sharkbite: Fun sports bar with a fun local crowd on the water at Turtle Cove. Try for a table near the water to watch for the shark that sometimes appears in the underwater lights!

  • Fish Fry: At Bight Park. Every Thursday locals put up booths for all kinds of food, drink and souvenirs. Local bands. Starts around 6. Very popular. Traffic and finding parking can be a challenge.

  • Beaches: There is one within walking distance of the house that is great, but many other beaches are close by that you can check out!

  • Grace Bay Beach: More touristy, but beautiful beach... there aren't any motor water sports allowed, however it is great for kayaking, snorkeling, sailing, etc.

  • Northwest Point: A longer drive. Good for hiking.

  • Pelican Beach: Quiet beach, good for beach combing

  • Long Bay Beach: Quiet beach, good for snorkeling and kiteboarding, footwear is recommended, however, it is good for conch shells!

  • Leeward Beach: Good for swimming (This is part of Blue Waters—may not be accessible for nonresidents. Check it out)

  • Lower Bight Beach: Good for snorkeling, more secluded beach... has the botanical gardens and on Thursdays they have pop up restaurants and the fish fry mentioned above!

  • Sapodilla Beach, Taylor Bay: A bit further away but large, shallow, calm area. Great for kids.
